Job Title: Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer Co-op

The Data Links IE Coop role will provide exposure to most IE functions. Students will learn to be a full time IE and be given tasks and responsibilities as all other IEs in the company.
The Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position will work with the Data Links & Manpack Team in the Cedar Rapids, IA facility. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Improving and developing processes
Designing tooling to aid in the manufacturing process
Transitioning new product from development to manufacturing
Resolving manufacturing issues
Time studies
Layout of production and support areas
Selection, justification, and purchase of equipment
Identification and implementation of facility improvements
Quality improvements
Documentation of shipping processes
Resolution of ergonomic and safety concerns
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
